| We all dwell in a house of one room - the world with firmament for its roof - and are sailing the celestial spaces without leaving any track. |

Boat and Travelling Etiquette
- We try to maintain a low-impact, environmentally aware co-existance with nature. Please remove any excess packaging from things you bring aboard. Garbage is a concern in this region. When ashore, bring all disposables back with you
.
- To reduce scratches and marring, please wear soft-soled, non-scuffing shoes while onboard.
Pack your belongings in a soft bag. Hard suitcases do not stow well on a sailboat.
- Carefully follow instructions for discharging waste and using boat systems.
- For your protection and ease of mind, please review safety and use of equipment procedures before the journey begins.
- Try not to yell too loudly when spotting a pod of Orcas.
- Try not to drop your camera overboard when photographing Rhinoceros Auklets.
- Let everyone know when there are dolphins at the bow.
- Have fun, relax and enjoy the ride.
- Let us know beforehand of your food allergies and dislikes. We are also interested in your favourite foods; after all this is probably a well-deserved vacation.
|
Things you should bring:
- layered clothing for warm, cool and rainy days
- white or non-scuffing deck shoes
- sun glasses
- sunblock, lip balm and other personal toiletries
- some fast-drying undergarmets such as polypropelene t-shirts and socks. As much as we love cotton, we have learned that when the weather is damp and cool it is not practical, so bring clothing for a variety of climates.
